Throughout April, participating restaurants will donate $1 for each of their PEI Burger Love burgers sold to Anderson House.

Anderson House is a provincial emergency shelter offering emergency supports and services for women, trans and non-binary individuals and their children from all areas of Prince Edward Island who are in need of safety because of violence in their lives. They will use all funds raised to develop and support new and innovative programming.

Look for the VOTE icon on each burger profile webpage, then click on this icon to vote for that burger from 1 (lowest love rating) to 10 (highest love rating). You can also go to www.peiburgerlove.ca/vote to rate your love for the burgers you’ve tried. Voting is available from April 1st to 30th only.

Based on the 1-to-10 rating cast when people vote, the burger with the BEST OVERALL AVERAGE RATING from all the counted votes wins the title. Only votes on our official website count towards the Most Loved Burger; comments on burgers via social media do not count. The highest number of sales does not decide the winner - YOU decide the Most Loved Burger based on your votes!

Every participating restaurant comes up with their own burger creations. We ask that their entry be a new burger not be on their menus already, and all details, pricing, and photos are supplied.

New this year, participating restaurants had the option to allow for their beef patties and other meat ingredients to be 'swapped out' for plant-based alternatives. This was optional for restaurants, so those with the VEGGIE OPTION tag will allow for the change to vegetarian. We recommend asking your server for more details at these participating locations.

When on our homepage, select the GLUTEN FRIENDLY sorting option to see which restaurants are serving up this option. As well, look for the Gluten Friendly icon on the photos of only the burgers offering a Gluten Friendly option. Please note that we state "Gluten Friendly" as we are unable to promise Gluten Free for our profiled burgers due to each restaurant having different capabilities to ensure no potential gluten cross contamination. Therefore for all gluten questions specific to any burger, please call the restaurant in advance to discuss your concerns, or speak to your servers before ordering.

The price of each burger is listed on their profile pages. All pricing is without HST and is the price for the burger only; not platters, combos or with sides. To participate in PEI Burger Love, there are no minimum/maximum price ranges for the burgers as restaurants determine their pricing individually.

NOTE: Restaurants may charge an additional fee for their Gluten-Friendly version of their PEI Burger Love burger. Please inquire about the price of the GF option with your server.

It is up to each restaurant if they will allow you to order their burger pre-cut for sharing. Please ask your servers if permitted before ordering.
